Chris Lovell, Partner and Factory Representative
With over two full decades of experience in the shutters business, Chris’ passion for designing and creating high-quality products shines through during every interaction he has with our valued customers. What Brought You to the Field of Shutters & Shades?
Chris sold his own startup company in the 90’s and then actually got involved in this business by complete chance. His next-door neighbor (at the time) convinced him to take a job at Southern Shutters; he knew that Chris already had plenty of experience in management and woodworking and would be a great fit. He got his start in installation and then moved into sales after some time had passed. His deep understanding of the craft and unfailing devotion to the work led to him becoming a full partner in 2005.
Where Did Your Expertise Come From?
During his childhood, Chris’s grandfather and father were always tinkering with wood and other building materials for various projects. They taught him all about the wonders of design and troubleshooting; as an adult, he approached his own work in the very same way. Today, his mechanically talented mind and approachable disposition make him an excellent asset here at Southern Shutters.
What Do You Like to Do in Your Spare Time?
When he isn’t busy at work, Chris spends his free time coaching sports, cycling, and spending quality time with family. He and his wife additionally take on all sorts of interesting DIY projects at home.
